The Bears acquired defensive tackle Brian Brice in a trade with the Buccaneers today for an undisclosed 2013 draft pick. Price was selected in the second round (35th overall) of the 2010 NFL Draft by the Buccaneers out of UCLA. In 2011, he started 14 of 15 contests played registering 24 tackles (20 solo) and three sacks.

The Jets have acquired Jeff Otah from the Panthers in an effort to solidify the right tackle position. New York sent a conditional draft pick to Carolina, who made Otah a first-round pick in 2008. A source said the pick is a seventh-round selection. Otah and incumbent right tackle Wayne Hunter will compete for the starting job, according to league sources.

The Eagles have traded cornerback D.J. Johnson to the Colts in exchange for defensive tackle Ollie Ogbu. Ogbu, an undersized pass-rushing tackle, went undrafted out of Penn State last year and was signed by Indianapolis as a rookie free agent. A practice squad-caliber prospect, Ogbu will struggle to make Philadelphia's 53-man roster.
